Newton BaseDrain & FloorDrain
Newton CDM BaseDrain and CDM FloorDrain are the primary drainage systems employed within the Newton CDM System. This assortment of products is designed to intercept water ingress at structural weak points and subsequently channel the collected water towards a Newton Basement Pumping System or a safe drainage outlet.
The 18mm apertures drilled into both sides of the profile, as well as onto the top surface, facilitate easier entry of water from beneath the CDM Fibran XPS-500C insulation boards and within the spacer zone into the drainage channels.
Applications
- CDM BaseDrain: A drainage conduit positioned along the perimeter of the waterproofed area, located at the base of the wall membrane.
- CDM FloorDrain: A drainage conduit designed for collecting water at construction joints to the floor and to replace BaseDrain at door thresholds. FloorDrain is also utilised for linking the perimeter BaseDrain to the sump.
- CDM BaseDrain Corner: A 90° corner structure.
- CDM BaseDrain T-Piece: A T-shaped structure facilitating a 90° connection between FloorDrain and BaseDrain, and for drainage through engineering brick as an alternative to open perpendicular joints.
- Jetting & access point: An access point for inspection and maintenance of the drainage system.
- CDM BaseDrain Connectors: Components for joining BaseDrain pieces together.
