Suitable for use beneath solid concrete ground floors not subject to hydrostatic pressure, it can be loose-laid for quick installation under groundbearing concrete slabs, suspended concrete, or beam and block floors. VOLSHEET DPM also serves as an effective gas protection membrane when included in compliant building systems designed to prevent radon accumulation or mitigate other ground gases.

Installation involves careful surface preparation, proper membrane laying with minimum 150 mm laps sealed with Butyl Tape DS100, and protection from punctures using boards, insulation, or screeds. Preformed corner units and proprietary components ensure airtight sealing around penetrations.

Limitations:

• Not recommended for long-term exposure to sunlight or outdoor weather without protection.
• Service penetrations should be minimized and carefully sealed.

Storage:

Store rolls undercover in original packaging, on a flat surface, away from sunlight in dry, cool conditions.
