Cetco Voltex Granules
Granular sodium bentonite waterproofing accessory for sealing voids, detailing, and enhancing CETCO bentonite membrane systems.
CETCO VOLTEX® Granules 20kg (also known as WATERSTOPPAGE) is a chemically treated, granular sodium bentonite used as a detailing accessory for CETCO Waterproofing Systems. When hydrated, the granules form a dense, low-permeability paste that bonds with the sodium bentonite in primary waterproofing membranes, creating a continuous, seamless waterproofing barrier.
With a free swell rating of 16cc per 2g in deionised water, VOLTEX® Granules provide exceptional water-blocking performance and are ideal for filling cavities, voids, and sealing around penetrations before applying the main membrane. A 3mm layer can also be applied on tunnels and earth-covered roofs before installing the main waterproofing course.

Typical Applications:
- Filling substrate voids prior to membrane installation

Limitations:
- Not for use as an expansion joint sealant
- Requires proper confinement with compacted backfill (min. 85% Modified Proctor density)
- Do not apply in standing water or during rainfall
