Krystol T1® Concrete Waterproofing
Concrete that is either fresh or old can be treated with Krystol T1, a surface-applied crystalline slurry treatment, to provide a long-lasting waterproofing barrier.
In order to guard against the penetration of water and waterborne pollutants, Krystol T1 reduces the permeability of the concrete. It can be applied to the positive (wet) or negative (dry) side of the water pressure because it becomes a part of the concrete, enabling dependable hydrostatic waterproofing protection and clean-up for even the most challenging applications.
How Does its Works?
Krystol technology is present in Krystol T1. Krystol fills capillary pores and microcracks in concrete by chemically reacting with water and unhydrated cement particles to generate needle-shaped crystals that permanently obstruct the passage of water and waterborne pollutants. Over the course of its lifetime, any moisture added to the concrete will cause crystallisation, guaranteeing long-lasting waterproofing.
