Krystol Waterstop Grout™
Waterstop Krystol In order to provide an internal or external waterstop at construction joints, pipe penetrations, tie-holes, and control joints, grout is a crystalline grout.
Krystol Waterstop Grout contains fiber reinforcements that reduce shrinkage and limit cracking. It is typically used in conjunction with Krystol Waterstop Treatment™ as part of the Krystol Waterstop System.
How Does its Works?
Krystol technology is present in Krystol Waterstop Grout. In order to create insoluble needle-shaped crystals that plug capillary pores and microcracks in concrete and obstruct the passage of water and waterborne pollutants, Krystol is applied to the concrete and chemically reacts with water and unhydrated cement particles. Over the course of its lifetime, any moisture added to the concrete will cause crystallisation, guaranteeing long-lasting waterproofing.
