Newton CDM Fibran XPS-500C
CDM Fibran XPS-500C boards are employed to create a 50 mm insulated space adjacent to the BaseDrain and FloorDrain drainage channels within the cavity drain waterproofing system. These boards maintain dimensional stability even when fully immersed.
The insulation boards feature a heat-hardened surface to enhance point load capability beneath studded membranes. Additionally, they include specially designed slots on the underside, which, when combined with the perimeter and spine drainage channels of the cavity drain waterproofing system, establish a fully drained supporting spacer beneath the floor drainage membrane.
Moreover, these insulation boards can serve as protection for liquid waterproofing membranes applied externally to new earth-retained structures or retaining walls. They provide a multifunctional solution encompassing protection, insulation, and drainage within a single product.
